Those who are familiar with Visual Composer: Page Builder for WordPress with Front-end and Back-end Editor, sure are searching for extensions of this awesome plugin. These extensions carry the title of visual composer add-ons and seems to be like growing branches from the trunk of an essential tree. As a consequence, according to the adage: apple does not fall far from the tree, the add-ons are awesome too.

Recently, was released VERA, an Universal Bundle of Visual Composer Addons which contains, for the moment, 7 extensions which will help you to include in your projects, the following: video players, audio players, radio players, logo showcases.

I said “for the moment” because the authors have written with headline letters on their website that all future visual composer add-ons they’ll create, will be included in this bundle. This means that once you get the package, you will have access, with a single click, to all other extensions that will be included, by downloading the product again from your account.

You will discover in Vera package a special item – HTML5 Radio Player. This item is all you need from a radio player: ShoutCast & IceCast support, categories, search, LastFM API support and more…

Just add the radio stream and the player will get radio name, radio categories, current playing song and artist photo.

Shoutcast and Icecast Support

It supports Shoutcast and Icecast radio streaming. Radio Stream should be MP3 type, no support for AAC/AAC+ stream

There is no need to mention that it has responsive behavior, but in case anyone would require this, it’s good to know that the radio player can be integrated without a care in a responsive website.

The player uses Last.FM API to display the photo of the current playing singer.

You’ll experience a smooth playback across your entire website.

It is a highly customizable product – just like all other visual composer add-ons in the package. You can choose from the 2 available skins: back & white. Also, from parameters you can create any color scheme, having the possibility to integrate it in any design.

You can share the radio player on Facebook and Twitter. Of course you have parameters to customize the share title and description.

It is compatible with IOS and Android operating systems.

Playlist With Categories and Search Option

The playlist items are structured in categories. A radio file can belong to multiple categories. The categories are automatically generated from the radio stream data.

If you wish for searching the playlist the radio player have this option. The results will be displayed as you type the search term.

In the examples already included, you will discover the possibility to hide the playlist, if your web page has a less generous space to display a radio player. Also, you can set as visible or set as hidden volume and share buttons.

If needed, you have the option to manually set the radio name and categories name.

You have at your disposal over 70 parameters from where you can customize your player, including: width, autoplay, initial volume, playlist, categories & color parameters.
